“Kitten's First Full Moon" by Kevin Henkes

A great book for bedtime

Kevin Henkes’ Kitten’s First Full Moon is one of the most calming books I’ve read in a long time. It settles you into the coziest of moods. Perfect for bedtime, for kids and grownups alike. Which is why I have absolutely no idea why I’m doing something so weird in this video I recently re-discovered on my hard drive:

I guarantee your kids won’t be weird when you read “Kitten’s First Full Moon” to them. Well, actually, I won’t guarantee that. Kids are weird. (At least the good ones are.)
