"Very Important Business" 2025

This darling mixed media piece features a momma duck and her two babies strutting their stuff as they walk across a cobblestone street. Perfect for fans of Nantucket and other cobblestone wonderlands.

I created the painting in watercolor and colored pencil, with a gold acrylic border. The piece is mounted on a sturdy board to create a subtle, eye-catching 3D effect. Embroidered flowers and grosgrain ribbon surround the art piece, with a Swiss batiste backing.

The handsome frame is made of gorgeous marbled maple. Conservation glass.
